a makeover for an old painting

As I in our basement looking around I came across and old painting. This simple painting, a plain blue background with a white circle painted on it, could be so much more colorful and exciting, with a little love, so I gave it a complete makeover.

Actually the painting isn't that bad but it still needs some color

After thinking for a while about how I was going to transfer the painting I remembered of some doodles I did in church 

 (yes, I doodle in church) and I thought they would be perfect for this painting.

Pumpkin muffins

Hello Dears!

Well today my plan was to go outside and take some photos but it started raining and the camera began to get wet and that held me back. But instead of taking pictures outside I decided to give a picture tutorial on how to make The Best pumpkin muffins.

These are very easy to make and are very yummy.

These are the ingredients you will need:

4 eggs

2 cups of sugar

1 can (16 ounces) of pumpkin

1/4 cup of applesauce

1 and 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 cups of whole-wheat flour
2t. of baking soda
2t. of baking powder
1t. of salt
2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
Yield:makes 2 dozen
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees

In large mixing bowl beat eggs,oil,applesauce,sugar,and pumpkin

In a separate bowl combine all dry ingredients

 Combine the dry ingredients one cup at a time and stir until smooth

add chocolate chips and pour into greased muffin pans bake for 16-20 minutes

let cool in pans for 10 minutes and then you take them out.

pour a nice glass of milk, find a good book to read, and enjoy!

Valentines Day every day

As I sat watching the blazing sun melt the blanket of snow in our backyard I was thinking about love and Valentines day. Valentines day is always portrayed as a holiday of loving one another and hearts but why?  Shouldn't strive to love and encourage one another and bring our hearts closer to God every day. And thats why I love valentines day so much because it can be celebrated everyday. You can give your time or your talents to show love anytime. In fact my mom gives my hundreds of valentines to me and my family by cooking our meals, driving us to our activities, and doing our laundry (she says laundry is her hobby).And well hats kinda my point to try and make Valentines day everyday even with simple acts of kindness.
