The sun is shining and the day is getting better

As I have said about a million times before, the weather is absolutely 100% loverly and today (and this past week) has been just about as loverly as the weather.

<<an afternoon alone>> <<good music selection on Pandora including lots of Adele>> <<a Blue Bell coconut ice cream bar for and after lunch dessert>> <<history reading in my swimsuit>> <<play time with the neighbor cats>> <<new jean shorts from GAP>> 

This list could go on for a long time but tonight my family and I are going to a show so I'd better go!

Ahh it's a beautiful day, the sun is shining, and Im posting! 

(it must be the end of the world)

Because this past week was spring break I kinda got caught up in a bunch of things.

1. Trying to finish Mocking jay (which I did) Oh Peeta!

2. Taking advantage of this beautiful weather by trying to get a nice tan in march!

3. Redoing Toots's old room into a kids hang out room

4.Getting my garden all ready to plant stuff in

5. Attempting to write more letters and read more

Did all y'all have a good spring break? I definitely did! To be honest I really didn't have any super big plans 

(except the Hunger Games of course) but that felt nice to not a ton of things crowding up my week.I was really glad the 

Hunger Games met my high expectations! It was really fun one of friends had a murder mystery at her house and it was so fun. The part that I played was a really rude writer who liked to get dirt on people oh and my nicknames are "piranha" and "pit bull".

Even though I played a mean person it was still a blast! In my fair little town is is 85 degrees,sunny,all the flowers are in bloom, and  this weather makes me eager for summer. Regardless of the fact that summer is while away after my school is don I still go out in my yard in a swimsuit and pretend I haven't done any school in a week and that I just went swimming. Well its time to say farewell but those are just some the highlights of my spring break and I hope post again soon!

getting back on track

Hello Dears,

Im sorry I haven't posted in a while, my life has been crazy.

This past weekend I had my youth retreat and i had a lot of fun. We talked about what God is making us to be. The only problem is that I only got 5 hours of sleep in two nights. Because of my lack of sleep I got sick for three days and practically lived on ibuprofen. I got over my sickness fairly quickly but sadly my mom told me we had to find a new home for our dear cat Lucy so over the weekend we called a few friends but today we had to take her too the humane society. I was so sad and well I cried a lot and I will miss her very much. oh yeah and to make things crazier our hot water heater broke last night and my dad had to turn off our water. But thankfully were getting it fixed right now. But because we couldn't cook lunch we went downtown and ate pizza at a pizza shop the serves 14 inch pieces and got ice cream at a the towns favorite ice cream shop. oh yea after lunch toots, my mom, and I had to go to the grocery store and there was a very cute boy that worked at the store that Toots and I couldn't stop staring at him and the only problem was that he knew we were staring at him! To make things even more stalkerish we named hid Ned! Well now you know what's happened in this past week of my life and I hope to blog again soon. Have a good spring spring break and a restful Sunday.

Today I got an afternoon with the entire house and yard to myself. My parents were gone at a meeting and toots and my brother went to see Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat again with group of friends. It felt so good to be alone, I still love my family to pieces but Im an introvert and I thoroughly enjoy my alone time. While I was alone 

I Listened to music on Pandora and Explored on some of your blogs. Because it was 65 degrees and the sun was shining bright it felt like such a waste to be inside so I just had to go outside and soak up some of the sun the sun. While I was outside I read the Mysterious Benedict Society (which Ive been trying to finish  for a very long time) when I was done reading I grabbed Toot's camera and took a few photos. They're not amazing but I guess the only way to get better is to practice(: My parents came home and I came inside to blog about my afternoon with only the wind and the sun.

No, I didn't get trapped in a pit of spiders

Hello dears,

You may or may not have been wondering why I haven't posted in forever but the answer to that question is simply, we all have those weeks. This past weekend Toots and my brother (who was the cat in the hat) were in Seussical the Musical so our weekend was rather busy. It was so much fun getting to hang out with every one and help with the show and I even got the "service with a smile" award at the wrap up party! After the last of the makeup was washed off (including my brothers's eye liner and cat whiskers which really creeped me out:) life got back tho normal... but not for long. Because of the tiring weekend my mom declared monday a no school day, yippee!I was glad to have one day to rest up and get back on track but when I (finally) woke up on Monday I felt very gross and was running a fever... not fun. So I spent the rest of the week trying to get at least a little school done, swallowing Ibuprofen after Ibuprofen, and taking rather disgusting tasting Zicam pills. Thankfully when I woke up this morning I felt perfectly fine and I finally got to get back on track with life. So now you know that I didn't get trapped in a pit of spiders I just had a crazy week. Well Ive got to go my Family and I are going to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat
